Go Gray for Brain Cancer Awareness

With this week's weather, it seems fitting that it's "Go Grey in May" month to raise awareness for brain cancer. Wrangler Purnell reminded Mrs. Jacobs of this important day. With the passing of Linda Burwell, with one of our own students currently fighting brain cancer and seeing Wrangler's dad in recovery from brain cancer, we can confidently say we are all impacted by this health challenge. Here is what why Wrangler thinks this is a day worth recognizing:
1. Many members of the school have been affected by brain cancer.
2. Nearly 80,000 people are diagnosed with brain cancer a year.
3. Brain cancer is the number one terminal cancer in children.
4. It will unite us as a school even though we can’t be at school.

So Let's UNITE and SUPPORT our students and families by wearing Grey on Friday, May 22. Be sure and post your pics. For more information, please check out these links.
