CES has a large number of openings for full time EA positions next year. We secured a Jordan’s Principle grant for additional support this year and are hiring 8 new positions. Through the Alberta First Nations Health Grant Consortium, Cardston Elementary School has secured a Jordan’s Principle Grant to support First Nations students' needs. These positions are funded annually based on the needs of First Nations students at CES. Eight (8) Full-Time (30 hours/week) Jordan’s Principle Individualized Education & Student Service Provider positions are available. These positions will start at the beginning of the 2022/2023 school year.

The successful candidates must:
- Be team players
- Have a positive attitude and good organizational skills
- Have experience with and be willing to learn and understand First Nation culture
The successful candidates will proactively support the students in all academic, social, and emotional needs.
The positions will continue as long as the child is enrolled in Westwind School Division for the 2022/2023 school year. If the child moves away from Westwind School Division, the position ends immediately.
The successful candidates must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check and Intervention Record Check before employment begins.
